Mrs. Lovett’s meat pies, savory and sweet pies,as you’ll see…

You know, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I discovered that in fact (and although the adds had suggested some meat pies decorated with noses, ears and fingers) Mrs. Lovett *did* bake Sweeney Todd’s victims into pies.

As I saw that finger-pie poster, I thought something like: “It has to be a joke, perhaps they intended to bake Judge Turpin into a pie, but hell no all of the costumer…!”

But they did indeed…

D. Monkey keeps insisting on how much he’d like to bring along a dozen of meat pies for us to eat… In San Marino, over the food court, we have a place where we order every now and then corn snacks stuffed with meat, called “Gorditas”. And before entering into the cinema I had bought one… So I was pretty much disgusted and about to be sick when I did my discovery about finger toes blended with human flesh enveloped in toasts…

Anyway, the music is fantastic, and smashing… I got the lyrics from Mr. Monkey as well, and although some of them belonged to Soundhein or what’s his name’s Musical.

 And for all those Harry  Potter freakies who thought Tim Burton produced a movie using Snape and Wormtail, yes, I’m talking to you lot (not you, Neesan)! Get a life, not everything spins around Harry Potter no more…

I discovered where to buy proper meat pies, in a place called “Pasteles y Cía”. I have to admit this post made me hungry.
