I spent most of the afternoon searching for retro adds and laughing loudly as I watched them on YouTube. I remember when I was a chile and used to sit for hours in front of the tv watching American channels in cable and hoping someday I’d live the kind of life displayed on them.

I have this obsession with Kids Club, or any other fast food add. Also, I love commercial jingles. There was only one person who told me so months ago, and I was truly surprised by his accuracy. I never thought someone would actually notice that from me.
And I also think Ronald McDonald is creepy. As much as if he were IT, the Killer Clown. I swear Stephen King was inspired on Ronald McDonald to create Penniwise.
So, while switching from add to add I found some The Wiggles thingy where they supposedly imitated the Beatles by using truly disturbing and creepy men puppets, and ear-bleeding background music. They were weird. They didn’t blink at all, and I had this sick feeling that something was happening below their waists. It was nightmarish. It was horrible! Though, it was so much fun I almost died laughing at it!

Oh, the url, in case you want to laugh as much as I did (even the neighbors were curious, because I was screaming and rolling on the floor laughing), is right here: http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=tVV4h38wnMI
Ah, and since today I had a beautiful pleasant morning and a descent afternoon, I’m even feeling like talking about it. I was double tempted to wear my army fabric t-shirt and my jeans with holes, but somehow I decided that I should look more lady-like than that. So I chose a white cotton blouse and darker and better jeans to go to my classes. I felt much better, I dare say, and prettier.
And even if I was wearing white, the soft pastel colors didn’t stain on my shirt at all, for I was careful enough. Though I really missed being covered in every possible color, and I was happy for it. After that, Pat and me went to buy our own pastel colors and ate half a sandwich each before we got home.
And well, that’s all there is to say, at least for now. Ah, and a piece of advice here: Don’t you ever sit near Ronal McDonald’s statue to take a picture of yourself near It. It’s creepy! And that would be a total social suicide.
