JD Santibañez Exists and Comic Book Is His Prophecy

I’ve been told by my boss to relax and have a nice weekend and so on and so on… The new History teacher has told me quite the same, maybe because I express my angst very clearly. We’re not going to finish the annual plan and there have been small troubles here and there. What else do you expect? Gee… anyway, I’m horribly frightened of my boss’s boss, ’cause she’s intimidating… But like Chinese would say: “You no boss of me…!”, nevertheless, she is.

I’ve learned lots of new thingies there, like for example… I learned to drink coffee without any sugar at all, although sometimes I do eat some chocolate cookies with it… I learned that kids look terrorized every time I talk to them in Spanish, because they’re so used to hear me expressing solely in English…

The other day I had troubles with the projector, and I asked the audiovisual lady to give me a hand. Anyway, I forgot for a second that I was supposed to speak in English and askedha girl to please sit down…

“Paulina, por favor, siéntese…” and after that, “gee, that sounded so weird…”

Some children laughed and said they agreed as well. I love these kids. I honestly do. Most of the time sometimes they really get on my nerves, but I’ve learned to manage it… or sort of.

Also, I’ve learned how they notice every single detail about me. They can know whether I use make up, or whether I bought a new backpack, even if I own a dual watch, or if I have a cat pendant…

I try my best anyhow, even if I’m not as good as other more experienced teachers. I’m sure I’ll get better. I have to have faith on myself, if that’s the least I can do. I haven’t had time to do the things I like, such as reading, watching tv and anime, write, draw and paint… But I’ve had incredible times with my fiancee, and friends at school.

I’m quite tired because… (well, I’m always tired on weekends) I’ve had an exciting day, and I think it’s past my bedtime (although, who cares?).

Did I tell you I received an engagement ring today? I’m wearing it on my right hand, ’cause it’s not the definitive one (it has to match the wedding rings, y’know? Because I didn’t…)

And my dad brough a love birdy today! And he looks like Robin from Batman! Actually, that’s the name we chose for him. Robin. He’s still a bit frightened, but he’ll get used to. Patty has one as well, and she’s like more than 30 years old (the bird). Really! She was given as a gift to Patricia’s mom when she assisted to school. And considering Patricia’s 20…
